Dr. Farhana Fardowsi

Dr. Farhana Fardowsi was born in Thakurgaon district. She passed the SSC examination in 2000 with First Division from Thakurgaon Government Girls’ High School and completed her HSC in 2002 with First Division from Rangpur Cantonment Public School and College.

Dr. Farhana Fardowsi obtained her Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) degree from the National Institute of Traumatology and Orthopaedic Rehabilitation (NITOR) under the Faculty of Medicine, University of Dhaka. She later earned her Master’s degree in Gerontology and Geriatrics (GGW) from the University of Dhaka, securing Second Position with First Class.

She has received specialized training in Neuro-Developmental Disabilities from the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Thailand.

Dr. Farhana Fardowsi has been serving for 14 years as a Consultant (Physiotherapy) at the Protibondhi Seba o Sahajjya Kendro (PSOSK), Jatiyo Protibondhi Unnayan Foundation (JPUF), under the Ministry of Social Welfare, Government of Bangladesh. Several of her research articles have been published in international journals, reflecting her strong academic and professional contributions to the field of Geriatric and Pediatric physiotherapy and rehabilitation.
